CartPoint™ is a multitasking
shopping cart application that enables one set of files to operate
independently, or dynamically in multiple applications. This
means you can use one set of files to run a b2c and b2b website.
It's a browser based system that can be easily managed by in-house
staff. This saves time and money.
While most shopping carts offer a stand alone business to consumer
application, CartPoint™
is designed to run its business to business feature seamlessly
and simultaneously. This offers manufactures, distributors,
media outlets, shopping malls and a host of other business types,
the ability to create added value for their customers, advertisers,
or tenants, and/or sell their online products, to an infinite
number of clients at varying price points.
File sharing is also an important feature of
CartPoint™ E-Commerce System This file sharing feature
allows retailers to offer, through their websites, a manufacturers
product line with files that have already been created. A manufacturer/distributor
can provide a reseller with the ability to seamlessly sell their
products online, creating expedient sales opportunities. Fulfillment
can be done either by the reseller, or by the manufacturer/distributor.
In either case both parties are able to track sales.
CartPoint™ also offers
several unique marketing applications. These include an opt-in
list server registration system this enables a business to capture
e-mail addresses and separate the addresses into specific lists
(mailboxes) that have been created for different demographics.
This enables you to bulk e-mail to targeted groups, and/or merge
these lists for specific promotions, or introductions. This
feature is key to a company being proactive in the management
of their website. Coupled with CarPoint's point of sale discount
feature, your website becomes a proactive, sales generating,
profit center.
The CartPoint™ point of
sale discount applet brings your e-business application to a
whole new standard in electronic commerce. This feature can
be activated to offer discounts at check out for first time
users and can be used for those that abandon their shopping
session. First, at checkout your customer can be offered a "percentage
off" discount incentive to opt into your mailing list for future
online sales offers. Second, if a customer abandons their shopping
session a window can pop up making this same incentive based
offer. This allows you to turn a percentage of historically
high abandoned carts into sales. Once a customer accepts this
offer a cookie is set to disable this discount feature on future
sessions.
CartPoint™'s bulk emailing
discount allows you to attach a code to your opted-in mailing
list. When the customer enters the code at check out a preset
discount is applied. You set the discounts and once a customer
uses it a cookie is set to prevent further use.
